Hi guys and welcome to another segment on our blog. In this segment our team would be dissecting the best and cheapest call tariff plans that offer the most economical call rates per network ( Glo, Etisalat, Mtn , 9mobile). Without further much ado, let’s get right to it.
1. Global Communications Limited (Glo)
Glo jollific8 tariff plan has the cheapest call rate but is only available to new customers as old customers cannot migrate to it. It offers up to 20minutes talk time for a ₦100 airtime recharge, hence it is their default tariff. So for the scope of the post we will be choosing plans that are available to both old and new customers. Hence, as an alternative we are going for Glo 11k/sec prepaid plan.
The Glo 11k/sec prepaid plan is a simple flat tariff plan which allows customers enjoy heavily discounted call rates @11k/sec to Glo lines and 15k/sec to other local networks and top 14 international destinations for a daily access fee of ₦5. This means for a 100 naira recharge you get up to 11minutes of talk time when you call other networks.
To enjoy this amazing offer dial *211#
2. Mobile Telephone Network (MTN)
MTN as we know has a lot of mouth-watering offers but the best pick is the MTN Pulse tariff plan.
MTN pulse tariff plan is a prepaid plan that allows you to enjoy flat rate of 11.26k/sec for all local calls in Nigeria after the first 60seconds call of the day which is at 25.6k/sec. This means for a 100 naira airtime recharge you get up to 13minutes of talk time when you call other networks including MTN.
To enjoy this amazing tariff plan simply dial *406*1# or text 406 to 131
Airtel has been known for very nice data plans that most Nigerian youths have an Airtel sim. If you are using your Airtel sim for calls then Airtel SmartTrybe tariff plan is the best for you.
The SmartTRYBE plan gives you a call rate of 11k/sec for all local and international calls after the first 50seconds call of the day which is at 25k/sec. This means for a 100 naira airtime recharge you get up to 14minutes of talk time when you call other networks including Airtel.
To subscribe, buy an Airtel line; existing subscribers are to dial *312# to opt-in.
Finally we have 9mobile, arguable one of the fastest networks in terms of internet speed though they have started fluctuating. Their call rates are quite high and expensive when compared to other networks. Truth be told, I had a hard time picking a plan out but I had to make a choice and I chose MoreClique. This is because it has lots of bonuses for recharge which when added together gives more than 15minutes of talk time.
To migrate to the MoreClique package dial *244*1# while for new customers dial 200 and press 2 on the new 9mobile sim.
Well folks, we have come to the end of this segment. I hope this helps you in making choices on the call plans to subscribe to. Let’s hear your opinions in the comment section and don’t forget to check back weekly for more posts like this but for now we have to call it day.
